This week at Primary School Savremena, students participated in the Week of Unity – a series of activities aimed at strengthening relationships and promoting values such as friendship, mutual respect and support. As part of the themed week, students took part in a special creative workshop where they collaboratively made the Heart of Friendship and the Mirror of Kindness.

Guided by their teachers, the activity carried strong symbolism. Through conversation, hands-on work and play, students explored what it means to be a good friend, how to offer support and how to be there for one another in everyday school situations.

The Heart of Friendship is a large, heart-shaped display where students posted notes to their classmates – expressions of kindness, encouragement and appreciation.

The Week of Unity once again highlighted how important such activities are for children’s emotional development, socialisation and the building of healthy relationships within the school environment. Through play, creativity and open dialogue, students strengthened their bonds and discovered that attention, acceptance and sincere words are what truly make a school a better place.

Primary School Savremena continues to foster these values and create opportunities where every child feels seen, supported and valued – because from unity grows confidence, happiness and a strong sense of belonging.
