Students of Savremena Elementary School who achieved notable success in school competitions were rewarded with a unique experience – a visit to the Štark factory. This special activity was much more than a simple trip; it was an opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with the real world of production, innovation, and creativity.

From the very moment they entered the factory, students stepped into a world where some of the most beloved sweets are created. Curiosity and excitement were visible at every step – from carefully listening to the guide to the enthusiasm sparked by every new piece of information. They were especially intrigued by the R&D department, where new ideas and products are developed, further inspiring their imagination and desire to explore.

Through this visit, students gained valuable insight into modern production processes and learned how important knowledge, teamwork, and creativity are for success. Experiences like this highlight the importance of learning through practice and direct contact with real environments, which is a key principle of education at Savremena Elementary School.

During the factory tour, students had the opportunity to explore different stages of product development – from the initial idea, through recipe creation, to final production. The process was presented in an engaging and interactive way, adapted to their age, allowing them to learn through experience and active participation.

One of the most memorable moments was the tasting session, which delighted all participants. Students could try various flavor combinations and think about how new product variations are created. Through these activities, they were encouraged to develop creativity and analyze what they tasted – an important step toward building critical thinking skills.

In addition, students took notes and discussed their impressions, deepening their understanding of the entire process. Learning was dynamic, engaging, and filled with real-life examples, which significantly increased their motivation and involvement.
