Savremena Primary School once again opened its doors to cheerful little visitors — this time to the children from “Bajka” Kindergarten, who spent an unforgettable day filled with play, exploration and learning. Their visit was a true adventure that combined creativity, curiosity and the magic of modern technology, allowing the children to experience what it means to learn through play.

From the moment they stepped into the school, excitement was everywhere. For many of them, it was their first time in a real classroom, yet the atmosphere was full of warmth, laughter and discovery. With a programme designed especially for their age, the children had the chance to explore educational technology, robotics and digital learning in a fun and engaging way.

The highlight of the day was meeting Pepper, the humanoid robot and the school’s friendly ambassador of modern education. Pepper welcomed the children with cheerful gestures, answered their questions and even danced with them! The children were amazed to see a robot that can talk, move and respond to their voices — a truly magical moment that sparked their imagination.

Through this interactive experience, they discovered that technology isn’t something distant or difficult — it can be friendly, inspiring and educational. At Savremena, robots like Pepper are part of everyday learning, helping students develop communication, empathy and curiosity in ways that connect technology and emotion.

 After meeting Pepper, the children dove into creative challenges using MeeBot Kits and LEGO bricks. Building, connecting and experimenting, they developed problem-solving skills and teamwork in the most natural way — through play. Working together, they built small robots and colourful constructions, all while exploring how creativity and logic go hand in hand.
Each new discovery was followed by smiles, laughter and the proud exclamation: “Look what I made!” Activities like these are the foundation of Savremena’s approach to learning — encouraging curiosity, imagination and cooperation from the earliest age.

The children were thrilled when they put on VR headsets and explored virtual worlds full of colour and motion. From forests and oceans to planets and space, they experienced how technology can take them on educational adventures without leaving the classroom.
With interactive tablets, they played fun learning games that strengthened their logic, focus and digital skills. Through these experiences, they learned that knowledge can come from curiosity and play, not just from books.

By the end of the visit, the smiles on the children’s faces said it all — they didn’t want to go home! The day at Savremena was full of joy, discovery and excitement. Through this visit, Savremena once again showed that learning can be engaging, creative and full of meaning.
