As part of Children’s Week, Year IV-1 students at Savremena Primary School performed the play Uobraženko i Zvezdana, based on the text by Mika Antić and adapted and directed by teacher Mirjana Ilić. The school annex was filled with parents, friends, and members of the school community, who supported our charity effort with their attendance and donations, providing aid for the children at the “Svratište” shelter.

With generous support from the audience, we collected substantial funds and numerous donations – from sweets and hygiene products to clothing for school-age children. This time, humanity went beyond words, and our young actors received high praise for their roles and dedication.

Children’s Week at Savremena Primary School was celebrated this year through art and compassion. Under the slogan “I am a child, I have a plan: tolerance and love every day,” together with students, parents, and school friends, we demonstrated the strength of unity. More workshops and events lie ahead, continuing this positive energy and spirit of togetherness.
