Success Continues: Outstanding Achievements in April!

Medals, awards, and new accomplishments in sports, science, and the arts

Students of Primary School Savremena continued their winning streak in April, achieving remarkable results in numerous competitions. Whether they excelled on the sports field, captivated audiences with their artistic performances, or demonstrated knowledge at academic events, they once again proved that dedication, effort, and the right support always pay off.

Despot Bugarčić – Karate (Kata and Kumite)

Despot once again showed that perseverance and hard work lead to results. At the Belgrade Championship, he achieved a notable result and added another medal to his collection – a true testament to his commitment to the sport.

Aleksa Maksić – Karting

Aleksa, a student of class VII-2, participated in multiple kart races. Starting from third position, he climbed to first place, winning the overall competition – a perfect example of focus and speed in action!

Kira and Emili Francišković – Rhythmic Gymnastics

The Francišković sisters continued to shine in rhythmic gymnastics, demonstrating a perfect blend of discipline and artistic expression. Their performances earned them new recognition and high marks from the judges.

Saša Đurđević and Eldin Heldić – Recitation

At the school recitation competition “Poet of My People”, first place was awarded to Saša Đurđević (I-1) and Eldin Heldić (IV-3). This secured their place in the Municipal Recitation Competition, where they will represent the school with their strong and emotive interpretations.

Simon Osećanski – Judo

Simon, a student of class III-3, once again confirmed that judo is truly his discipline. At the memorial tournament in Brus, he earned a gold medal, showcasing impressive technique and fighting spirit.

Iva Matović – Dance

At a dance competition in Novi Sad, Iva performed in the Modern Dance Formation Kids and Jazz Performance Solo Kids categories, representing Dance Factory NBG E. Her confidence, style, and energy captivated both the audience and the judges.

Luka Vasiljević – Tennis

Luka won second place at the Belgrade Open in the under-12 category. His dedication to training is evident in every match – congratulations!

Teodor Nikolić – Football

Teodor Nikolić, a student of class VI-2, achieved third place with his team KMF Mungosi at the international football tournament Sedriano Cup 2025 held in Milan. A great sporting achievement in a competition that brought together teams from across Europe!

Stanko Popović and Josip Glasnović – Water Polo 

Students from class IV-2, Stanko Popović and Josip Glasnović, are proudly representing their club, Water Polo Club “Novi Beograd”, at one of the largest international water polo tournaments in Volos, Greece.

Simona Laketić, Luka Marjanović, and Elena Radmanović – HIPPO English Olympiad European Finals

We are proud to announce that our students Simona Laketić (Grade III-1), Luka Marjanović (Grade V-3) and Elena Radmanović (Grade VIII-3) have successfully qualified for the European finals of the HIPPO English Olympiad! The final stage will take place in Lido di Jesolo, Italy, where they will compete with peers from across Europe.
