At the recently held international competition in the English language “Hippo,” students of Savremena Elementary School achieved notable results, competing with peers from various parts of the world.

Savremena Elementary School proudly represented Serbia at the international English language competition “Hippo 2023,” where its students from second to eighth grade showed exceptional linguistic abilities and intercultural understanding.

Established in 2012, the Hippo Association remains a benchmark language competition in over 60 countries worldwide. Hippo is the largest language competition in the world, connecting children, schools, and educational institutions. In Serbia, Hippo is entering its 12th season, and we welcome everyone to another exciting Hippo story.

This competition is not only a test of knowledge but also an opportunity for young people to develop their communication skills, self-confidence, and to make new friendships. Participation in the Hippo competition confirms the commitment of Savremena Elementary School to quality education and international cooperation, emphasizing the importance of language learning from an early age.
