Students from Class VI-1 Visit “Zvuci srca” Café
A Day of Empathy, Curiosity and Respect
Students from Class VI-1 at Primary School Savremena visited “Zvuci srca”, a unique café in our city that employs individuals with developmental disabilities and promotes social inclusion through work, creativity and human connection.
The visit took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The students had the opportunity to learn how the café operates, speak with the employees, discover more about their daily activities and enjoy carefully prepared beverages. Throughout the visit, the children showed genuine interest, asked thoughtful questions and openly discussed the importance of equal opportunities, acceptance and mutual respect.

An Encounter That Leaves a Mark
For many students, this visit was an encounter with lives that may be different, but are deeply inspiring. Through conversation and time spent at “Zvuci srca”, the students developed a greater awareness of the importance of support, understanding and empathy – not just in school, but in society as a whole.
Excitement grew when they saw the unique, handmade souvenirs created by the café’s employees. Many students chose to purchase an item – not only as a keepsake, but as a gesture of support and gratitude.
A School That Teaches Children to Be Human
Primary School Savremena continues to use visits and activities like this one to teach students values that go beyond the classroom. The visit to “Zvuci srca” was not just a field trip – it was a meaningful opportunity to foster empathy, raise awareness about diversity and nurture a spirit of community.
Students from Class VI-1 returned filled with impressions and positive emotions, and Primary School Savremena proudly continues its mission to help build a world where there is room for everyone.
