The way we learn in Savremena is the best and truly different!

We were so happy when we learnt that Primary School Savremena opened. I had already known about Savremena gimnazija and its standards so I was convinced that the primary school would have the same standards!

After the very first conversation, we decided on Savremena, because we were thrilled by what it has to offer. We spent quite some time asking around and in the end came to the conclusion that Savremena is truly different when compared to other schools. We chose the Combined program, as my son is already good at English and in this way he will master it while gaining knowledge based on two educational curricula – the national and Cambridge ones. I believe that this is best for our son and an excellent preparation for his successful future.

What I find important is that my child goes to school with a smile on his face, that he can fit in and find good friends. As Savremena provides so much opportunity for socialising, learning and activities in a fun way, I can already see my son looking forward to being in Savremena. I especially like that the teachers at Savremena monitor the interests of each individual child, encouraging their creativity, thus enabling them to develop according to their affinities. I also like that there are so many extracurricular activities which provide different and exciting experiences and socialising.

I can’t wait for September!

I’ve decided to enroll in Primary School Savremena and I’ve also decided to design robots when I grow up. I am sure of that.

I can’t wait for Septembar when I will start going to Savremena. When I learn while playing, like today, I’d stay in school all day!

In Savremena we have found all we have ever looked for in a school

The lessons are very interesting and interactive. I especially like that the teachers are spontaneous in their approach to and communication with children. This is precisely what makes this school stand out from others.

I was present at the maths lesson and got the confirmation of what I’ve been telling – they were doing the maths problems which were above the Year 4 level and, by applying a very interesting approach, they were able to find the solutions they were not expected to.

What we have expected from a school is to observe the curriculum defined by the Ministry, but, on the other hand, to be different, more open to children who want to communicate and grow in different directions, and that exactly is what we have found here.

Safety and healthy habits of our children are guaranteed at Savremena

What I consider the top priority is the health and safety of a child, and the environment and rapport towards students at Savremena are such that a child develops in the healthiest possible atmosphere. This kind of approach from the very beginning means that the success of this school and one of our children is guaranteed. Every precaution is taken at Savremena so there is no fear of peer violence and discrimination.

I especially like that healthy meals are provided for children. When children learn to take care of their diet and develop interest in sport in their childhood, they will adopt healthy habits for life.

Savremena offers a lot of extracurricular activities, children get together and the teachers are fond of them, taking care of each student individually. That means a lot to me.

Besides all that Savremena offers to its students, it has a fantastic curriculum which secures a prosperous future to our children. All of these made me decide and enroll my child in this school.

I like very much that there is a personalised approach to each child at Savremena, and that they get to know the children through some form of practical work and conversation. At Savremena, teachers monitor students’ interests, thus helping them to take the path appropriate at that particular moment, for each child individually, according to their preferences and specific traits.

What I expect from Savremena is to help my child expand his horizons given his current knowledge and abilities. All the knowledge that Savremena offers, he can apply in a practical way, to make his life, schooling and work easier.

THE PROBLEMS ARE SOLVED IN A PEACEFUL WAY

The teachers are not strict.

If we do something that doesn’t deserve commendation, we are told to go and sit at one desk, to sit there for a while and think about what we have done. And then, we can go back, talk about it and say we are sorry.

A test seems like a computer game

I never feel the pressure in this school – Wow! I’ve got a test tomorrow and because we do those quizzes that our teachers design for us, it seems as if I’m playing a computer game, while, actually, I am doing a test. I like distance learning a lot as I am not alone during the live lessons and I can send messages to my friends who I can see during a Hangouts video call. It means so much to me as I play tennis and could be at a tennis tournament or in a park and I can join Live and watch. Also, the teachers are so dedicated to children. I’m going to be the Number 1 at tennis, so I’ll be able to attend school, watch my lessons from everywhere and complete my school tasks.

Savremena is brilliant! I will always recommend this school as it has a fantastic concept, a lot of versatile activities and offers possibilities for personality development, boosts interests and helps students realise who they are. My son is currently in Year 1 of Savremena and I believe at that age students are still not aware of all the benefits they have.

I am sure that in senior classes students’ potentials will come to the fullest and the students will be able to benefit from all the great possibilities this school offers to them. On the other hand, my older daughter is in Year 4 at another school and is fully aware of all the advantages that Savremena provides to its students. Therefore, she is sorry that she couldn’t enroll in Savremena before and take advantage of all that the school offers to its students.

It is great that Savremena has designed the system which implies that children should rely on their own potentials while they can always get in touch with their teachers for consultation. I’m convinced that Savremena will become a part of its students’ lives which they wouldn’t like to forget. THE SCHOOL PROMOTES DEVELOPMENT OF ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND THE STUDENTS OFTEN SPEND TIME IN THE OUTDOORS

Naturally, the children here learn basic things as well – mathematics, writing, reading etc. But this school promotes development of additional skills. Developer’s thinking, for example.

The second day of the school year the children were taken on a field trip. We think it’s a fantastic approach. Not to scare children with the novelty of a classroom. Thus, from the very beginning, the impression of the school was positive one.

OUR DAUGHTER HAS THRIVED IN THIS SCHOOL

Our daughter Zoja has transferred to Primary School Savremena from the prestigious International school Danube in Vienna. From Day 1 she was truly happy and overwhelmed with impressions. The adaptation to the new environment and different curriculum was smooth, and excellent results have been coming one after another.

My husband and I are really satisfied with our choice of school. We would especially like to commend her class teacher Željko Žarić. His approach to children is exceptional, filled with enthusiasm and love for children, and that is something you can see right away.

We would like to express how pleased we are with all of the school staff: from the always kind gentleman who takes care of our children’s safety and helpful girls at the reception desk to the cook, who warms up children’s hearts with a cup of hot tea. The teachers put a lot of effort and provide attention for the children, which is clearly visible through children’s success.

It is obvious to us that our daughter has thrived in her new school. What clearly shows how satisfied she is, is the fact that she could have continued her education abroad earlier this year, but she decided to stay in Belgrade, because, above all, she is happy in this school environment.
