During the “Space” project, preschoolers at Savremena Primary School learned about planets, the Sun, the Moon, and stars through play, conversation, and creative activities. The result? A classroom full of colors, imagination, and little astronauts who now know that Saturn is the planet with rings, that Jupiter is the largest planet, and that Earth is not alone in the universe. Before they picked up paints and paper, the little ones watched educational videos about planets, listened to stories about astronauts, learned what the Solar System looks like, and why planets orbit the Sun.
They talked about what life in space would be like, whether there’s water on other planets, and why astronauts wear spacesuits. Every question was an opportunity for a new discovery, every answer led to new curiosity. The teacher carefully guided the conversation, encouraging children to ask questions and imagine what it would be like to travel through space. The atmosphere was filled with wonder and curiosity – that genuine, childlike interest that drives real learning.
