SMART DAY at Savremena Primary School once again gathered children who signed up to experience a unique blend of learning, creativity and modern technology. From the very entrance, the school was filled with excitement, light and curiosity, and the first workshops immediately offered moments the children will remember for a long time.
Their adventure began with an impressive 9D VR starship journey — an immersive technological experience that flew them through galaxies, planets and interstellar landscapes. The illusion of movement, combined with sound and visuals, sparked laughter, amazement and pure joy. Immediately after, the VR “Tour Around the Earth” allowed the young visitors to “climb” the Eiffel Tower, “walk” along the Great Wall of China or “swim” near tropical coral reefs — all without leaving the classroom.
These experiences beautifully combined learning and wonder, showing children how technology can become a window into new worlds. The excitement continued in the STEM zone during the “MBoot Kit – Start the Robot” workshop, where children programmed small robots to perform simple tasks. Through hands-on experimenting with sensors, motors and commands, they discovered how coding turns ideas into real movement.
The technological journey continued at the OSMO station, where children created their own mini video games in an interactive environment. They saw firsthand how animations are formed, how characters respond to their input and how imagination can come to life on the screen.

A special event for all children who love technology and creativity
The biggest surprise of the day: programming robots and creating a game from scratch
The second part of SMART DAY focused on play, teamwork and communication. The iPad quiz “How Well Do You Know Fairy Tales?” sparked laughter, competition and collaboration, as children solved riddles, answered questions and revisited their favourite story characters.
A special highlight was the first English lesson — designed to introduce young learners to the language through movement, rhythm and play. Children sang songs, repeated simple dialogues and learned new words in a warm, supportive and fun atmosphere. For many, this was their very first contact with English in a school setting, making the experience even more meaningful and memorable.
This combination of language, play and joyful exploration helped children feel confident and motivated, showing them that learning can be both effective and enjoyable.
Creative chaos and musical joy: art, rhythm and imagination in full bloom
The SMART DAY adventure concluded with artistic and musical workshops that encouraged self-expression and creativity. In the “Little Artists and Creators” workshop, children painted, glued, mixed colours and created their own imaginative worlds. The classroom turned into a colourful gallery filled with laughter and artistic chaos.
At the music workshop, children explored rhythm, sang, experimented with various instruments and discovered music as a fun and expressive language. These workshops reminded everyone that knowledge is strongest when connected with emotion, movement and creativity.
SMART DAY once again demonstrated that Savremena Primary School is not just a place for learning — it is a place where children grow, explore and build confidence. By combining technology, play and creativity, this event offered an experience that inspires, empowers and opens the doors to the future.
