Sixth Grader Takes on the Role of a Math Teacher
An Engaging Lesson With Tasks and Estimation Games
As part of the “Big Sister, Little Sister” project, sixth-grade student Ebigejl Sivali held a math lesson for class III-3. With thoughtfully prepared exercises and excellent communication, Ebi demonstrated how peer learning can be both educational and fun.

Fractions and Measurements Through Logical Thinking
Ebi prepared exercises on measuring length, mass, and volume, as well as fractions. The students participated actively, while Ebi guided them with questions and hints, helping them think in the right direction and reach correct solutions—encouraging both logic and independence.
Math Through Play and Estimation
In the final part of the lesson, Ebi led a creative estimation game. The students guessed the length of the board, how much liquid was in a bottle, the weight of a pencil case, and more. The activity sparked additional interest, and Ebi once again impressed with both her mathematical knowledge and her teaching approach.
