Savremena Students Secure Placement at City Chemistry Competition
Notable Results and Advancement to City Level
Students of Savremena Primary School achieved notable results at the chemistry competition, once again confirming a high level of knowledge, dedication, and systematic work cultivated at our school. Chemistry as a science requires precision, understanding of processes, and the ability to connect theory with practice, and Savremena students showed they are ready to meet such challenges. Through continuous preparation and additional work, students developed analytical thinking, confidence in problem-solving, and the ability to apply knowledge in different contexts.
The following results were achieved at the competition, securing advancement to the city level:
- Petar Stamenić – 2nd place
- Viktor Abakumov – 3rd place
- Ekaterina Maksimović – 3rd place
These results represent a significant achievement and confirmation that effort, work, and dedication are recognized and rewarded. Advancement to the city level competition brings new challenges, but also an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge in competition with the best, which further motivates their continued work and development.

Effort and Dedication
In addition to students who secured advancement to the next level, we particularly highlight students who were one step away from that success. Konstantin Petrović and Roman Bandorin showed exceptional knowledge and dedication, and they were only one point away from advancing to the city competition. Such results testify to their potential and represent a strong incentive for further work and progress.
Also, Jovan Bogunović and Nikolina Perić deserve praise, as they showed great effort, responsibility, and dedication during preparations. Competitions are not only an opportunity to win awards, but also an important part of the learning process through which students develop discipline, perseverance, and self-confidence. It is precisely through such experiences that students learn how to overcome challenges, analyze mistakes, and continuously improve their knowledge.
The atmosphere during preparations and the competition itself was filled with support, mutual encouragement, and a desire for progress, which additionally contributes to developing a positive attitude toward learning and science.
Teacher Support and Development of Scientific Thinking
An important role in achieving these results is played by the dedicated work of teachers, which is why we particularly highlight chemistry teacher Kristina Milosavljević, whose expertise, dedication, and teaching approach significantly contribute to developing students’ interest in natural sciences. Through quality-led classes, additional support, and motivation, students have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of material and confidence in their knowledge.
At Savremena Primary School, chemistry is not just a subject – it is a way of thinking that encourages research, asking questions, and seeking answers through logic and experiment. Students are encouraged to understand processes, analyze phenomena, and develop a scientific approach to problems, which represents an important foundation for their further education.
Such successes are not just individual achievements, but the result of continuous work, teacher support, and student motivation. They confirm that Savremena builds an environment in which knowledge develops through understanding, research, and practical application.
Congratulations to all students on their achieved results, and we wish them much success at the city competition! 🧪👏
