Savremena Students Learn About Environmental Protection: Life Skills Workshop with a Representative from WWF Adria
Students from grades 5 to 8 participated in an educational workshop on the conservation of natural resources and ecological responsibility.
Through its innovative Life Skills program, Savremena osnovna škola continually seeks ways to provide students with an education that transcends traditional school experiences. Environmental responsibility is one of the important aspects of the program, and the workshop with WWF Adria was a perfect way for students to deepen their understanding of environmental protection.
During the workshop, students learned about concepts such as biodiversity, ecological footprint, and the protection of natural resources. Aleksandra Ugarković, a representative from WWF Adria, motivated students through an interactive presentation to discuss specific steps we can all take, such as recycling, conserving energy, and reducing plastic consumption.

Students actively participated in discussions, sharing their ideas on how individuals, families, and schools can contribute to nature conservation. Ugarković highlighted the importance of education as a key element in fostering positive changes in society, encouraging students to take an active role in preserving the planet.
The workshop generated significant interest among students, prompting them to think globally while acting locally. The Life Skills program at Savremena osnovna škola continues to inspire them to be responsible citizens who actively contribute to the preservation of the environment and the community they live in.
