Savremena Launches Globetrotters Project at Partner Meeting in Belgium: International Collaboration in Motion
Primary School Savremena Joins the International Erasmus+ Project “Globetrotters”
Primary School Savremena has become a partner in the Erasmus+ K2 project “Globetrotters”, together with schools from Belgium, Greece, and Romania. The project encourages children aged 6 to 9 to explore languages and cultures through music, games, stories, and a digital platform adapted to support students with speech and language difficulties. Parents and educators are also included in the project, and a practical guide with modern pedagogical methods will be prepared for them.

Project Vision: Exploration, Empathy, and Connection Through Play
The Globetrotters project aims to inspire children to explore different languages and cultures through play, music, stories, and digital tools. The innovative platform is also tailored to support children with special educational needs, particularly those with speech and language difficulties. The project is based on the belief that children are natural explorers – curious, open-minded, and ready to discover the world around them while developing empathy and mutual understanding.
Project Kick-off and Website Announcement
Partners from Belgium, Greece, Romania, and Serbia-including Tradanim Formations asbl, European Literacy for All Network (ELAN), 27o Dimotiko Scholeio Thessalonikis, and Școala Gimnazială Nr. 16 Take Ionescu – have officially launched the project. Key thematic areas have been defined, and work on the official project website is underway. The site will soon be available to the public.
Participation in international projects such as Globetrotters gives students, teachers, and parents the opportunity to broaden their horizons, exchange ideas, and apply innovative educational practices. Primary School Savremena continuously takes part in projects that enhance teaching quality, promote intercultural awareness, and develop key 21st-century skills. Through such initiatives, students not only gain knowledge but also grow into open-minded, tolerant individuals ready to thrive in a global society.
