During December 2023, students of Savremena Elementary School organized an inspiring humanitarian bazaar and decided to brighten someone’s holidays. This bazaar was a symbol of support, solidarity, and empathy that we nurture in Savremena.

Members of the Student Parliament proudly initiated the humanitarian bazaar at Savremena Elementary School, providing an opportunity for students of all ages to engage and contribute. Our small action was joined by parents who, at numerous workshops, created cards, decorated cookies, and made ornaments together with students. We had a wonderful time, simultaneously working diligently, resulting in a rich selection at the bazaar.

During the last two weeks of the first semester, students, with their involvement, managed to collect an extraordinary amount of over a hundred thousand dinars. This impressive sum is lovingly directed to the Čuturilov family, facing a difficult situation, whose members were identified through the humanitarian organization Srbi za Srbe. This gesture is not only financial assistance but also a powerful symbol of solidarity and support within the school community.

At Savremena, we foster a spirit of togetherness, knowing that outstanding academic achievements mean little without humanity, compassion, and humaneness.
