In the scope of the innovative Life Skills program, Savremena Elementary School organized a special workshop of the Greek Language, led by Ivana Busić Janković, an esteemed professor and the owner of the “Hellas” language school. The workshop was directed towards the students’ familiarization with the basics of the Greek language, alphabet, and the richness of Greek culture.

Through interactive activities, the students had the chance to familiarize themselves with the Greek alphabet and learn the basic phrases. Among other things, they learned how to buy an ice cream, and established a closer understanding of Greek culture. The goal of the workshop was to familiarize the students with a new language in a fun, educational manner, facilitating their curiosity and the desire for learning.

Savremena Elementary School continually strives to provide its students with the richest educational experience possible, including the familiarization with different cultures and languages. The Greek language workshop is just one example which shows the school’s implementation of its goal to develop students’ comprehensive abilities, preparing them for a global environment and future challenges.
