Project “Big Brother, Big Sister”: Learning and Support Together
Older Students Help Younger Ones Through Shared Math Lessons
Students of Primary School Savremena took part in the “Big Brother, Big Sister” project, where they symbolically and practically demonstrated how support and cooperation can enrich everyday learning. Two special activities were held, bringing together different grades, tasks, and plenty of smiles.

Fifth Graders as Mentors to First Graders
Fifth-grade students visited their younger peers in the first grade and worked together on math assignments. Through patient explanations, encouragement, and collaborative problem-solving, the lesson became a special experience. The younger students were motivated and curious, while the older ones showed just how responsible and compassionate they can be as mentors.
Third Graders Practiced with First Graders
The first-grade classroom was full of focus and team spirit as third-grade students helped their younger classmates tackle math problems. Through simple examples and collaborative work, the youngest students gained a new perspective on learning, while the older ones once again showed that knowledge is best shared – with a smile and understanding.
