Pink Shirt Day at Primary School Savremena: Creativity and a Message of Support Against Bullying
Pink Shirt Day – A Reminder of the Importance of Standing Against Bullying
At Primary School Savremena Pink Shirt Day was celebrated in a special way – through creativity, teamwork, and an important message of mutual respect and support among peers. The Psychological and Pedagogical Service designed and created unique pink T-shirts so that students and teachers could symbolically express their stance against bullying and promote the values of empathy, friendship, and solidarity.
Pink Shirt Day, celebrated worldwide on the last Wednesday of February, originated as a response to bullying and the need to create safe and supportive environments for every child. This initiative reminds us of the importance of speaking up, offering support, and fostering an atmosphere where everyone feels accepted and safe.
Primary School Savremena continuously promotes a culture of non-violence, and this day serves as yet another opportunity to encourage students to reflect on the importance of kindness, understanding, and unity.
Our Students’ Creativity in Service of a Positive Message

We extend special thanks to our talented students – Klara, Helena, and Koča, who enthusiastically participated in designing and creating the T-shirts. Their creativity and dedication helped make each shirt carry a unique message and symbolism, reminding us all of the importance of supporting one another and standing up for what is right.
Beyond showcasing their artistic talent, this project taught students how powerful a visual message can be in advocating for positive change. Their T-shirts were not just clothing – they became a symbol of unity and solidarity.
Primary School Savremena – A Place Where Every Voice Matters
The celebration of Pink Shirt Day once again demonstrated that at Primary School Savremena we care about every child and strive to create a safe, encouraging, and respectful environment. Through various activities, workshops, and projects, we encourage students to be brave, stand up for themselves and others, and foster a culture of dialogue and understanding.
Today we wore our pink shirts with pride, but more importantly – we carried the message they represent in our hearts. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this inspiring day, and a special shoutout to our wonderful creators, Klara, Helena, and Koča! ❤️
