Parents at Work: Meet Victory Dance Studio
A modern approach to dance for children and adults
As part of the Parents at Work project, students had the opportunity to visit Victory Dance Studio, a modern dance and fitness center in Belgrade. The studio offers a wide range of classes, including hip-hop, commercial dance, freestyle, and bounce-trampoline fitness, providing a space where everyone can find a style that suits them. Led by Verica Protić, an experienced choreographer with over 20 years of experience, the studio provides high-quality education and fun for all ages. The visit allowed students to see how a professional dance studio is run and gain insight into the work that goes into performances and competitions. It also inspired them to develop their own talents and think about their future interests.

Diverse classes for every age
Victory Dance Studio offers classes for children, teens, and adults, focusing on urban dance styles. In addition, they organize bounce-trampoline fitness classes that combine fun and physical activity, helping children develop coordination, strength, and endurance. The studio is equipped with professional lighting and sound systems, creating an environment where students feel like real performers. During the visit, students had the chance to try basic steps and exercises, allowing them to actively participate and better understand the techniques. This experience showed them how discipline in dance is closely connected to patience and perseverance.
Preparation for competitions and performances
Students have the opportunity to participate in various competitions and performances, allowing them to showcase their skills and gain confidence. Victory Dance Studio regularly organizes performances and competitions, providing a platform for young talents to shine and learn how to perform in front of an audience. The visit enabled students to observe how choreographies are prepared and how teamwork impacts the final performance. Beyond technical skills, children could see the importance of trust and support among dancers. These insights are invaluable, as they encourage social skills and team spirit development.
Inspiration for future dancers
Visiting Victory Dance Studio was inspiring for our students, giving them a chance to experience a professional dance environment. This meeting motivated them to dedicate themselves to dance and develop their talents, as well as to consider healthy lifestyles through physical activity. As part of the Parents at Work project, such experiences allow students to explore different fields and develop their interests. Children had the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice from professionals, helping them understand how talent is nurtured and grown. This experience demonstrates the importance of connecting school and the professional world to foster knowledge, confidence, and motivation for future challenges.
