Students of Savremena Primary school excelled at this year’s Vukobratović Days of Robotics, a competition that brought together the best young innovative minds. The theme of this year’s event revolved around miniaturization, bio-robots, and nanorobotics, with challenges related to nature and medicine where robots solved tasks using cutting-edge technologies.

Success in the Mediori Category

In the Mediori category, the task was to create a functional robotic arm. Our students demonstrated exceptional knowledge, creativity, and dedication. The following teams participated:

• GameChangers1: Kasija Janković, Nikolina Perić, and Aleksa Maksić
• GameChangers2: Ana Rogulić, Uroš Stojaković, and Luka Rustija

Victory in the Junior Category

In the Junior category, the challenges were even more demanding, as students had to solve tasks in real-time on the field while overcoming various obstacles. Our teams stood out:

• Savremene Robotičarke: Kira and Emili Francišković, Marija Simić
• Savremeni HandGamers: Lav Kostić, Andrej Glišović, and Filip Stanković
• Savremenci: Yuki Huang, Natalija Bugarčić, Tadija Simić, and Eleonora

A special achievement was made by the team Savremeni HandGamers (Lav Kostić, Andrej Glišović, and Filip Stanković), who won first place in the Junior category and earned gold medals. They demonstrated incredible precision in solving tasks, achieved the maximum number of points, and displayed outstanding teamwork. Their effort and persistence brought a prestigious victory to Savremena Primary school.

The students’ mentor and teacher of informatics and robotics, Maja Babić, shared her thoughts:
