Oplenac Children's Festival: A Family Adventure in Nature for All Generations

Savremena Primary School invites students and their families to a festival brimming with fun, education, and charitable activities

Savremena Primary School invites students and their families to a festival brimming with fun, education, and charitable activities.

Savremena Primary School proudly supported this year’s traditional Oplenac Children’s Festival, held in the beautiful natural setting of the forest behind St. George’s Church. As every year, the festival gathered numerous families who enjoyed a variety of activities designed for children of all ages.

Children had the chance to ride horses, try archery, participate in creative workshops, and compete in various games, giving families an opportunity to spend quality time together outdoors.

A Spirit of Charity and Family Fun

Entry to the festival was free, but, as every year, donations were collected to support charitable actions for helping children and young people. This charitable aspect of the festival further strengthened family bonds and demonstrated how shared activities can positively impact society. Children learned new skills, such as archery and creative expression, while parents actively participated in all events, making the festival a true family celebration.

Besides the entertainment, the educational segment of the festival held a special place. At its stand, Savremena Primary School showcased its Miko robots and the resources Savremena students use in their everyday classes.
Interactive workshops focused on environmental protection and sustainable development. Children and parents learned about recycling, resource conservation, and the importance of protecting nature.

Once again, the Oplenac Children’s Festival demonstrated how family values can be fostered through fun and education, and Savremena Primary School proudly supported the event.
