Savremena Primary School hosted an exceptionally significant NLP workshop on the topic of emotional intelligence, led by former student of Savremena High School, Mina Stanić. This workshop is part of our efforts to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for healthy emotional development.

The workshop was designed to provide students with practical knowledge and skills needed to recognize, understand, and express their own emotions appropriately. Through interactive activities, students explored different emotions, from happiness and love to sadness and fear, learning how to identify where in their bodies they feel specific emotions and how those emotions influence their behavior and decision-making.

It was a special pleasure to host Mina. Her presence at the workshop was particularly inspiring, not only because she is an example of a successful career built on the foundations of education gained at Savremena High School, but also because she demonstrated how former students can positively influence new generations. Seeing Mina pass on knowledge and skills to Savremena students was a strong confirmation of the value of continuity and connectedness within our educational community.

A particular pleasure for our school was being able to show how investing in the education and skill development of our students pays off in the form of their later achievements and contributions. Mina is a symbol of what Savremena strives to achieve – raising individuals who will not only succeed in life, but will also actively contribute to the betterment of the community they come from.

While imagining a world where previous generations had the opportunity to learn about emotional intelligence, one can only assume how much richer society would be in empathy, understanding, and better interpersonal relationships. In Savremena Primary School, we are proud to contribute to this type of education, preparing our students to be responsible, emotionally intelligent members of society.
