Qualification for the City Athletics Competition

New Victories of Savremena Students

Students of Savremena Primary School have once again shown that hard work, discipline, and dedication always lead to success. At the municipal athletics competition, held at the Athletic Hall, Andrej Joksimović (Class VI1) and Luka Vasiljević (Class V2) achieved outstanding results and secured their place at the city-level competition, confirming both their talent and athletic readiness.

Andrej claimed first place in the 60-metre sprint, demonstrating exceptional speed, explosiveness, and confidence from start to finish. Luka also secured first place in the 600-metre race, thanks to his endurance, well-paced strategy, and mental strength—key factors for success in this demanding discipline.

These results represent not only individual achievements but also a reflection of the continuous development and support students receive through sports activities at Savremena Primary School.

The path to success: talent, effort, and perseverance

The success of Andrej and Luka is the result of dedication, discipline, and a genuine passion for sport. Through regular training and active participation, students develop not only physical abilities but also important life values such as perseverance, responsibility, and self-confidence.

An important role in their development is played by their Physical Education teacher, Željko Zarić, whose expertise, guidance, and support help students recognise and develop their full potential. With the right mentorship and encouragement, students are motivated to push their limits and achieve outstanding results.

Competitions provide valuable opportunities for students to test their abilities in real conditions, while also building mental strength, focus, and confidence.

Ready for the next level: the city competition ahead

Qualifying for the city-level competition represents the next important step in the athletic journey of our students. It is both a new challenge and an opportunity to compete with the best students from other schools, gaining valuable experience along the way.

At Savremena Primary School, we encourage students to develop their talents and reach their full potential in all areas—whether in sports, academics, or the arts. Achievements like this clearly show that dedication and quality work are always recognised and rewarded.

We believe that Andrej and Luka have many more successes ahead of them, and we are confident that they will continue to perform with the same energy and determination as they proudly represent their school at the city competition. 🏆🏃‍♂️
