MODERN SCHOOL SPACE

Savremena Elementary School is located in an attractive part of New Belgrade, near big business centres and residential blocks, currently taking up 2,000 square metres, with 10,000 square metres as the projected size upon the completion of the expansion currently underway. The location has excellent connections to various parts of the city, with the highway, the Ada Bridge and the Municipality of New Belgrade in close vicinity, and a number of bus stops surrounding the school.

The school also has a large parking lot, so the parents need not worry where to leave their cars when they visit.

SCHOOL PREMISES

Upon renovation and expansion, Savremena Osnovna Škola will comprise three separate, individually designed buildings with a total area of 10,000 square metres:

• One part is designated for preschoolers.
• Another part is reserved for students attending the first four years.
• The third part is for lessons for the students of the final four years of elementary school.

Each of these buildings has been created and customised to fulfill the educational needs of students of different age groups, with modern design and equipment up to the standards of cutting-edge architectural solutions.

Savremena Elementary School’s interior design evokes Google’s offices, with comfortable furniture and high-tech devices that facilitate the learning process.

Savremena’s classrooms boast a modern outline with ergonomic node chairs.

The younger children can enjoy dedicated creative spaces for play and exercise, while the other students can keep fit at the courts. The parents, too, like to spend some time here, relaxing in the cafe surrounded by greenery while they wait for their kids.

A considerable section of the yard is designated especially for the youngest ones – the Play Zone.

Thanks to a convenient mobile grandstand, Savremena’s students can enjoy an open stage. When the weather is fine, it hosts school plays and other shows, various lectures and a summer cinema. The grandstand can also be placed by the sports court and seat the audience of different sporting events.

INTERACTIVE ROOM FOR RELAXING AND HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS

The students can spend time before, between and after their lessons in specially equipped spaces for relaxation and entertainment. The creative, futuristic setting lets the students unwind and spend friendly time together playing foosball and pool, or playing the piano.
