Savremena Primary School once again opened its doors to curious young visitors — this time, children from the Belgrade kindergarten Igralište, who stepped into the world of modern technology, creativity and learning through experience. The school corridors were filled with laughter, excitement and the sparkle of curiosity as the children discovered how fun and inspiring learning can be.

From the moment they arrived, they were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the teachers, students and, of course, the school’s favourite assistant — the humanoid robot Pepper. The children were instantly fascinated. Pepper talked, danced, answered their questions and even posed for photos. Their amazement was evident — they could hardly believe they were talking to a real robot!

Through this interaction, the children learned that technology can be friendly, engaging and full of emotion. Pepper is not just a symbol of innovation — he’s a bridge between imagination and knowledge, helping children develop curiosity, empathy and communication skills. In Savremena, technology is not something distant or abstract — it’s alive, interactive and tailored to every learner.

Throughout the visit, the classrooms turned into creative hubs full of movement, color and discovery. The children watched older students use digital tools in lessons and learned from teachers how technology supports everyday learning. For many of them, this day was the first step into the world of school — and they experienced it as a place full of joy, creativity and inspiration.

After meeting Pepper, the little guests embarked on a true STEM adventure — building robots with the MeeBot Kit, assembling creative shapes with LEGO bricks, exploring virtual worlds through VR glasses and experimenting with interactive tablets. Their enthusiasm grew with every new discovery. The virtual reality experience was particularly exciting — the children explored colourful landscapes and dynamic environments that blended imagination and learning in the most engaging way.

While playing with MeeBot robots, they learned about basic programming and mechanics in a fun and intuitive way. LEGO activities inspired collaboration and creativity — they built towers, bridges and characters from their favourite stories, proudly showing their creations to one another. Every smile told a story of discovery, teamwork and the joy of creation.

One of the most special moments of the visit was when the children attended a real school lesson. Sitting in classroom desks alongside Savremena students, they took part in activities, answered questions and interacted with the teacher. For many, it was the very first time they experienced what a school day feels like — not through rules and formality, but through warmth, friendship and curiosity. It was a beautiful glimpse into the world that awaits them.

The visit from kindergarten Igralište ended with laughter, new friendships and lots of pictures. The children left Savremena full of impressions, joy and new questions — inspired to learn, create and return one day as students. For them, this was more than just a visit — it was a memory that will stay with them for years to come.

Once again, Savremena Primary School proved to be a true school of the future — a place where technology meets imagination, where children learn through play, and where knowledge always begins with curiosity and a smile. 💛
