Little Artists and Gymnasts: First Graders at Savremena Learn Through Music and Movement

Creative Exercises and Musical Expression Through Drawing and Play

This week, the first-grade students at Primary School Savremena continued with a variety of rich and creative activities that allowed them to explore the world of music and movement. In physical education class, the young gymnasts focused on exercises designed to help develop their coordination and control, especially through gymnastics movements involving hand coordination. During the class, the students carefully learned rhythms and pauses, along with remembering specific parts of the musical game, which helped them connect music with physical expression.

Creative Expression Through Drawing Musical Instruments

In addition to gymnastics exercises, the students also expressed their feelings and experiences on paper. To the accompaniment of music, and inspired by various melodies, they drew musical instruments, expanding their artistic expression. This session provided an opportunity to visually express what they felt while listening to music, linking sounds with the shapes of instruments.

In the coming classes, these young creatives will have the chance to take another step into the world of music by creating their own musical instruments. This project will further enrich their understanding of music, allowing them to explore and create through play and imagination in a whole new way.
