Verbatoria Assessment

Life Skills Programme

As part of the Life Skills programme, Savremena Primary School hosted an interactive Verbatoria workshop, giving students the opportunity to explore their talents and ways of thinking in a modern and innovative way. The focus of the workshop was on understanding individual abilities, recognising personal strengths, and building self-confidence through practical experience.

Through carefully designed activities, students learned that talent is not only what we excel at, but also what comes naturally to us and what motivates us. Through discussion, creative tasks, and interaction, students gained a deeper understanding that every child has a unique potential that develops in different ways.

This approach represents an important step towards modern education, where students are not viewed through a single standard, but through their individual abilities and learning styles.

Experiential Learning That Builds Confidence

The workshop was designed as a dynamic and supportive environment where students actively participated, explored, and discovered their own “superpowers”. Through drawing, storytelling, team activities, and mini challenges, students had the opportunity to recognise the areas in which they excel – whether in creativity, logic, communication, or physical abilities.

A special emphasis was placed on mutual respect and support. In the final part of the workshop, students identified and highlighted each other’s talents and positive traits, further strengthening their sense of belonging, empathy, and self-confidence.

Through this approach, students not only gain a better understanding of themselves, but also develop an essential life skill – the ability to recognise and appreciate differences. This forms the foundation for healthy development, motivation, and success in further education.

A Modern Methodology for Child Development

Verbatoria is an internationally recognised methodology that uses neurometric principles to understand how a child thinks, learns, and responds. By analysing brain activity during simple tasks, this method provides insight into a child’s dominant abilities, learning style, and areas of potential development.

Although the neurometric assessment itself was not conducted during the workshop, both students and parents had the opportunity to learn about the importance of this approach and the possibilities it offers. Identifying talents at an early age allows for timely support and guidance towards areas where a child can reach their full potential.

At Savremena Primary School, we believe that education should go beyond knowledge – it should focus on understanding each child as an individual. Programmes such as Life Skills demonstrate how modern methods and thoughtfully designed activities can foster self-confidence, motivation, and awareness of one’s own abilities.

This workshop once again showed that Savremena is not just a place where knowledge is acquired, but a school that recognises, develops, and guides the potential of every child – shaping confident, motivated, and self-aware young individuals ready for future challenges.
