Kindergarten “Kuća malih stopala” Discover the Digital World of Savremena
Savremena Primary School once again welcomed curious young visitors
One of the most thrilling moments of the day was meeting Pepper, the humanoid robot who serves as a daily digital assistant and friend to Savremena’s students.
The children immediately adored him: they approached him confidently, pressed the buttons on the screen, played memory games and even tried to “outsmart” him in tic-tac-toe.
Pepper guided them patiently through interactive activities, helping them develop logical thinking, focus and an early understanding that technology can be fun, safe and useful.
Their excitement was so great that they returned to Pepper even after exploring other stations — wanting one more round of games and interaction.
Their next stop was the Osmo zone, where iPads combined physical elements with digital tasks.
Through puzzles, drawing and interactive challenges, they strengthened coordination, prediction and logical reasoning — all through completely natural, intuitive play.
This was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience technology as a tool that inspires creativity and problem-solving, not just entertainment.
Savremena uses methods like this regularly to help children develop digital literacy from an early age — without overstimulation and without passive screen time.

A Journey Through Worlds Found Only in Imagination
Another highlight of the visit was the ride on the VR simulator, where the children put on VR headsets and embarked on their very first virtual adventure.
With excited smiles and curious expressions, they experienced first-hand how technology can completely change perspective and open the door to worlds they had never imagined.
For many of them, this was their first contact with virtual reality — an experience that sparks imagination, curiosity and a sense of exploration, just as Savremena nurtures in its daily teaching.
To complete the visit with a burst of creativity, the children spent time in the LEGO zone, building houses, cars, roads and little cities.
LEGO bricks play an important role in the development of fine motor skills, teamwork, spatial awareness and imagination — and the children were fully immersed in their creations.
Each child found something that inspired them: some built bridges, others constructed castles, while some proudly took on the role of “architects” designing an entire LEGO street.
A Day Filled with Discovery, Joy and First Digital Steps
The visit of the “Kuća malih stopala” kindergarten to Savremena Primary School was yet another wonderful reminder that children learn best when they have the freedom to explore, play and ask questions.
Our goal is to show them that knowledge is accessible, engaging and — above all — connected to the world they live in and the world awaiting them.
The little ones left with big smiles, plenty of impressions and a first real sense that technology can be their ally in learning.
And we look forward to every future visit and to every young explorer who will step into Savremena for the first time.
