I Have the Right to Laugh
Children’s Humor That Brings Generations Together
As part of Children’s Week, students of Savremena Primary School took part in a joyful and relaxed activity called “I Have the Right to Laugh.” On this special day, the school hallways and classrooms were filled with genuine children’s laughter, as students shared their funniest jokes and stories, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. This activity highlighted just how important laughter and good spirits are for building friendships and a sense of community.

Laughter as a Way to Connect
Students from all grade levels prepared short and witty jokes, which they shared with their classmates, teachers, and school staff. Some confidently stepped to the front of the classroom to tell their jokes aloud, while others listened with smiles and applauded their friends. Their reactions were honest and spontaneous — from loud laughter to cheerful applause.
This simple yet valuable activity allowed students to step out of their usual learning routine and enjoy something that connects us all — humor.
The Power of a Genuine Child’s Smile
Laughter is a universal language that erases differences and brings people closer together. During the activity, students showed that a joyful atmosphere encourages openness, social interaction, and mutual trust. Both younger and older students shared jokes and enjoyed moments of togetherness, which made everyone in the school feel connected and accepted.
Moments like these remind us how important it is to nurture humor and smiles in everyday life — especially in the school environment.
School as a Space of Joy and Laughter
At Savremena Primary School, we nurture values that go beyond academic learning. We believe that students’ emotional well-being is just as important as academic success. Activities like “I Have the Right to Laugh” encourage students to build self-confidence, express themselves freely, and learn how to spread positive energy to others.
Laughter and shared joyful moments strengthen the school spirit, build friendships, and create lasting memories.
Laughter Is Contagious — Let It Last Every Day
“I Have the Right to Laugh” was more than just a fun moment — it carried an important message: laughter heals, connects, and inspires. Together, students and teachers created an atmosphere where smiles and good energy were at the center of attention.
Through activities like this, school becomes a place where children not only learn from books but also learn how to spread joy, build trust, and preserve the honesty and cheerfulness that make childhood special.
