Humanitarian race for a happier childhood

Sportsmanship and a big heart

Students of Savremena Primary School took part in the humanitarian event “Race for a Happier Childhood”, organized by the Red Cross of New Belgrade. This traditional race aims to nurture a sense of solidarity, humanity, and togetherness among children while promoting sportsmanship and healthy habits.
In a cheerful atmosphere and with the support of many, our students gave their best and proudly represented their school. Events like this encourage children to build a sense of belonging and shared success that lasts far beyond medals.

A fantastic achievement

We are proud to share that Savremena’s students achieved outstanding results — one of our students won second place in the girls’ category, while another student also took second place in the boys’ race. 🏅

Their energy, determination, and smiles at the finish line were the best reward for both them and everyone cheering them on. This result carries even more value because it was achieved in the true spirit of sports, friendship, and humanity.

A race with a powerful message

The humanitarian nature of this race gave special meaning to every step taken. Participating in such events inspires children to develop empathy, understanding, and a desire to make a difference in their community.

These values go far beyond sports results and leave a lasting impact on their growth. The students showed that the most beautiful victories are those achieved together — with an open heart and a smile.

Small steps that make a difference

This event was not just about competition — it was an opportunity for students to learn about the importance of humanity and solidarity. The race showed that everyone can contribute to their community in their own way — through strength, kindness, or support.

The shared spirit, positive energy, and big hearts of our students are the best example that humanity and sports go hand in hand. 🫶
