Primary School Savremena traditionally marked its patron saint’s day – Saint Sava, the enlightener and protector of education. This year, fourth-grade students had the honor of hosting the celebration, preparing a special programme together with their teachers and parents.

The celebration began with the arrival of a priest, who blessed the school, students, and teachers. The central part of the ceremony was the cutting of the Slava bread, symbolizing unity and a blessing for a successful school year.

Students performed through acting, singing, and recitations, emphasizing the importance of education and the cultural heritage that Saint Sava represents. With the support of parents and teachers, this event once again highlighted the values of togetherness and a love for knowledge.
