Fourth-Grade Girls Share Messages of Support with Their Younger Schoolmates
Messages That Empower, Connect and Teach the Value of Friendship
In an atmosphere filled with joy and warmth, a truly special and meaningful activity took place today at Primary School Savremena – fourth-grade girls prepared and delivered heartfelt messages of friendship and support to second-grade students.
This initiative, born out of a desire to strengthen peer relationships and foster a sense of unity, demonstrated how small gestures can have a big impact. The fourth-grade girls surprised their younger peers by writing and sharing encouraging, personalised messages filled with kindness and care.
A celebratory mood filled the air as the girls knocked on the classroom doors of the second graders. Smiling and holding beautifully crafted notes in their hands, they entered and handed each student a personalised card containing words of encouragement, friendship and support.

Messages That Leave a Lasting Impression
Each message was thoughtfully handwritten and decorated with drawings, symbols and warm colours. Behind every card was a meaningful idea: how friends can support one another, how to believe in oneself, and how beautiful it is to have someone who sees you, understands you and cheers you on.
The second-grade students received the letters with great enthusiasm. Many read them aloud, some carefully tucked them away into their pencil cases or backpacks, while others simply hugged their older friends in gratitude. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and positive energy that lasted throughout the entire day.
A School Community That Supports and Connects
At Primary School Savremena, great importance is placed on mutual respect, support and building a strong sense of community among students of all ages. Initiatives like this not only empower students but also teach them essential life values such as empathy, kindness and solidarity.
Teachers at Primary School Savremena supported this activity with pride, emphasising that moments like these help create a unique school culture – one where children inspire one another and grow not only as students, but as people.
There are plans to make this activity a tradition so that future generations at Primary School Savremena can continue to nurture the spirit of mutual support. Through this thoughtful gesture, the fourth-grade girls have shown that they are ready to take on the role of role models, while the second graders received a powerful reminder that they are not alone – they have friends in their school who care about them.
