Entrepreneurial Spirit in Third Grade

Students from Class III-2 Organise Their Own Mini Bazaar

Students from Class III-2 at Primary School Savremena demonstrated initiative, organisation and teamwork by independently preparing and running a mini bazaar, selling homemade sweets and toys. Their small but successful event was a real treat – both literally and figuratively!

That day, the classroom transformed into a lively market filled with colourful stands, the aroma of baked goods and joyful smiles. Everyone had a role – some made sweets at home, others brought toys they wanted to sell, and together they took part in selling and promoting their little market.

Something for Everyone – and the First Earnings in the Jar

There was truly something for everyone – from muffins, cookies and cakes to fun toys and small trinkets. Customers included students from other classes, teachers and school staff, and the entire event was filled with excitement and cheerful energy.

By the end of the day, the students had earned their first bit of income – symbolic, yet meaningful, as it was the result of their shared effort and dedication. They proudly counted their earnings and were already thinking about how to invest in their next joint idea.

Learning Through Experience

This activity was a fantastic opportunity for students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, practise teamwork and communication skills, and gain a sense of responsibility. Through hands-on experience, they learned what it takes to turn an idea into reality – and how important it is to honour agreements, divide tasks and support one another.

Primary School Savremena is proud of the students from Class III-2, who showed that when given the opportunity, children can be exceptional organisers, creative thinkers and responsible collaborators.
