In Savremena Elementary School, the students had the opportunity to learn more about notable personalities in Serbia through an interactive workshop featuring individuals depicted on official banknotes. Older grades participated in a financial literacy workshop, where they learned about budgeting through realistic life scenarios.

First and second-grade students at Savremena Elementary School had a unique opportunity to learn about prominent personalities in Serbia in an engaging way. A lecturer from the National Bank of Serbia introduced them to official banknotes and shared stories about the individuals depicted on them. The interactive part of the workshop included assembling puzzles with the images of notable figures, allowing students to familiarize themselves with important historical figures in our country in a fun way.

The financial literacy workshop was designed for older grades. Students were tasked with budget planning for various life scenarios, including projections of earnings and situations where they needed to wisely allocate money. The goal of the workshop was to introduce young people to the concepts of saving and responsible money management, preparing them for future life challenges.

The Life Skills Program prepares students to become successful and accomplished individuals in the future by providing them with knowledge and skills applicable in various life situations they may encounter. Thanks to the knowledge and skills acquired through the Life Skills Program, Savremena students will be well-equipped not only for continuing their academic careers, but also for success in business, community life, and everyday tasks.
