Fourth-grade students were given a special homework assignment that pointed out the importance of family values. 

Their teachers encouraged them to explore their family tree with the help of their parents and learn more about their ancestors.

 This assignment became an opportunity for students to reflect on their roots and connect with their family heritage. Through conversations with their parents, they discovered the birthdates of their ancestors and heard stories about their lives. What was particularly emphasised was how different the lives of their ancestors were from theirs and how they undoubtedly left a profound mark on family history.
