DANICA NIKOLIĆ

TEACHER

She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences in Jagodina, while she completed her master’s studies in teaching at the Teacher Education Faculty in Belgrade, and Educational Policies at the University of Belgrade. During her studies, she was a sponsored participant in the Erasmus+ programme and expanded her knowledge at the Eötvös József College of Applied Studies in Hungary. She gained valuable experience through teaching practices in Serbian-Croatian and Hungarian schools, where she conducted language workshops for children. She later continued this practice in Belgrade. 

She participated in various national and European STEAM and LEGO competitions, with one of her projects being awarded by the European Schoolnet and Scientix. Currently, she is involved in various Erasmus+ projects and is a member of the Institute for Contemporary Education, the World LEGO Association, and the STEAM Association. She is the author of several professional papers.

In addition to her teaching career, Danica has worked as a mental arithmetic teacher, an NTC (Neuro-Training for Children) assistant, and engaged in volunteer work at the Center for Youth Integration. She speaks English and is currently improving her French. She sees each student as unique and believes that being a teacher is one of the most beautiful callings in life, which requires a lot of love, understanding, and patience.
