At Savremena Elementary School, another event in a series illuminating the path towards innovative education took place this month – “Corner Day.” This event, quickly becoming a highlight of the school calendar, once again brought students together in a unique endeavor of exploration and learning.

With carefully designed workshops covering everything from technological wonders to artistic expression, Corner Day proved to be an opportunity to experience education through a new lens – as an adventure waiting at every step. Each workshop, led by our passionate teachers and external experts, was a journey into new knowledge, where students became explorers in their small universes.

Here are the workshops in which students experimented:

• Social game “Internet Etiquette”
• Our senses in the virtual world
• Geography – map orientation, use of GPS
• Autocorrect in Serbian
• Pepper – lexical exercises
• Conversations with artificial intelligence
• Creating a puzzle on the theme of internet safety
• Programming through history
• Vocabulary enhancement

Growing up in a stimulating environment like Savremena Elementary School, children develop into creative thinkers, face challenges, and become prepared for the future ahead.

The primary intention of this event was to make science more appealing to young people, to make them love learning and be open to the idea of lifelong education.
