Champions of Knowledge and Sports – Savremena Students Shined in May!
Medals, awards, and records that speak louder than words.
To celebrate the end of the school year, eighth-grade students of Primary School Savremena took on their teachers in friendly basketball and volleyball matches. Filled with team spirit and positive energy, this event was the perfect way to wrap up a successful chapter of our students’ primary school journey.
Iva Matović – Gold and Bronze in Gymnastics
Iva Matović stood out at a gymnastics competition by winning a gold medal in the group category and a bronze in the solo category. Her strength, precision, and artistic expression impressed everyone present.


Stefan Šćekić – Double Gold in Judo
Stefan Šćekić from class I-3 won two gold medals at the Partizan Club judo tournament, demonstrating strength and technique that set him apart. This result confirms his ongoing dominance on the tatami.
Mikhail Khorenko – Second Place at “Misliša” Math Competition
Mikhail from class II-1 earned an impressive second place in the national math competition „Misliša”. His logical thinking and speed placed him among the top young mathematicians of his generation.


Luka Macura – Double Champion and Track Record Holder
Luka Macura claimed two first-place finishes in karting and set a new track record at Navak. His confident and flawless driving makes him one of the most promising young drivers in the sport.
Nikša Đuričković – Mini-Talent Champion
Nikša from class II-3 showed great form in karting, winning first place in the mini-talent category. His focus and calmness during the race earned him the victory.


Simon Osećanski – Regional Champion and National Top 3
Simon achieved outstanding results across multiple judo tournaments. At the “Jagodina Open”, he added another gold to his collection. Currently ranked among the top 50 judokas of all ages in Serbia, with 10 gold medals this season, he holds third place nationally. His most significant victory came on 17 May, when he became the regional champion of Belgrade.
Aleksa Maksić – Karting Champion
Aleksa Maksić earned first place at a karting competition. His concentration and vehicle control placed him among the best in his category.


Emili and Kira Francišković – Third Place in Greece
Emili and Kira won third place at the international dance competition “Greek Open” in Thessaloniki. Competing in the All Ladies Latin Formation (pioneers category), they impressed with synchronization and stage presence.
Konstantin Jovanović – Third Place at Regional Championship
Konstantin Jovanović participated in the S. POLETARCI 2025 regional championship in Belgrade, earning third place. His persistence and sportsmanship deserve every praise.


Darija Čudak – Two Silver Medals in Rhythmic Gymnastics
Darija Čudak from class II-3 shone at the 15th Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament in Novi Sad, winning two silver medals in the Pioneer A program category. Her routines were flawless and technically demanding.
Krasimirova Zheleva – Gold in Dance
Zheleva won a gold medal at a dance competition, demonstrating confidence, rhythm, and creativity.


Despot Bugarčić – Double Silver in Karate
Despot earned two silver medals at a karate competition, showcasing discipline, speed, and exceptional fighting spirit.
Filip Janković – Outstanding on the Football Field
Filip Janković contributed to his team’s success with great performances in football tournaments. His game was team-oriented, passionate, and determined.


Kristina Mladenović – Volleyball Champion
Kristina Mladenović took first place at a volleyball tournament, representing the “Sterija” club. Her leadership and outstanding play helped lead the team to victory.
Boris Radibratović – Bronze in Fencing
Boris Radibratović from class IV-3 secured third place at the 3rd Novi Sad Cup in fencing (floret discipline), representing the “Crvena zvezda” club. His technique and composure earned him a spot on the winner’s podium.
