The students divided into teams, and each team became a real mini-company. Some designed tech products, others created fashion brands, gadgets that solve everyday problems, and even little “food companies” with creative recipes and packaging.
The children independently chose their roles:
- company director,
- designer,
- promoter,
- production planner,
- copywriter,
- marketing specialist.
And every role was taken seriously — but with that beautiful childlike enthusiasm and ease.
Teachers acted as mentors, but it was the students who led the entire process: planning, drawing, writing, prototyping, and presenting their ideas to their classmates. The classroom truly felt like a cheerful startup workspace, full of energy, teamwork, and creativity.
This experience showed them how important it is to collaborate, delegate tasks, negotiate, and bring a project to the finish line — just like in a real company.
Projects like this are a core part of Savremena because we deeply believe in learning through experience. By creating their own business plans, the students developed key 21st-century skills:
- independent thinking,
- communication and public speaking,
- creativity,
- organisation and planning,
- teamwork,
- problem-solving,
- confidence and initiative,
- taking responsibility.
For many, this was the first time they completed a full process — from idea to “final product.” For others, it was a chance to show their talent for design, writing, presenting or leadership. Together, they learned that great achievements don’t happen by accident — they happen when courage and ideas work hand in hand.Savremena nurtures entrepreneurship as an essential life skill.
Because when a child learns to think independently, create solutions and believe in their own ideas — they gain one of the most valuable tools for the future. And judging by our young entrepreneurs, a generation full of bold ideas and creative solutions is already on its way.
