BRANKA MILIĆEVIĆ

Branka graduated from the Teacher Education Faculty in Užice, after which she built her career as a primary school teacher in several schools in Priboj and Belgrade. She has also worked as an Art teacher and librarian.

She is an instructor at NTC workshops focused on developing associative, divergent and creative thinking in children. Alongside her teaching work, throughout her many years of experience she has also contributed to the organisation of the international PANGEA Mathematics Competition in Belgrade and worked as a folk dance instructor in several primary schools.

Throughout her career, she has continuously pursued professional development both in Serbia and abroad. Among her international training programmes, she particularly highlights courses in mental arithmetic and CLIL methodology.

At Savremena Primary School, she strives to use her teaching methods to create a “school tailored to the child” and to motivate and inspire her students to discover their talents and develop their individual potential to the fullest. In addition to her teaching methods, she achieves this through extracurricular activities such as the Little Chefs Club and the Gifted Students Club.
