Literary Journey through Imagination and Creativity
Author Aleksandra Filipović visited Savremena Elementary School, where she held a motivational lecture on literature and creative writing.
Unveiling the Secrets of the Written Word
During her visit, Aleksandra talked to students about the importance of imagination in writing, sources of inspiration, and the process of creating characters and stories. By sharing personal experiences and anecdotes from her literary journey, she encouraged students to explore their creative potentials and develop a love for literature. This interaction not only provided students with insight into the literary world but also motivated them to become part of that world themselves.
Aleksandra Filipović is a writer and satirist. She won the first prize of Radio Belgrade 1 and the show “Dobro jutro, deco!” for the best children’s story (2018), the first prize for the aphorism of the year in Večernje novosti (2018), the first prize for the aphorism at the Festival of Humor and Satire SLEM (2018), the second prize for aphorisms at the international competition Golden Dragon in Ljubljana (2018), and the special prize of the Mokranjac Association for the story published in the collection of stories for children “Muzika priča”.
Among our elementary students, Aleksandra is particularly known for her novels “Serafina Krin and the Heart of the World” and “Serafina Krin and the Last Griffin.”
Savremena Elementary School continuously seeks to inspire its students and provide them with opportunities that will have a significant impact on their development. By organizing such events, the school not only enriches the educational process but also motivates students to actively engage in various fields, encouraging them towards creativity and innovation. This approach to education creates an environment where students are encouraged to become thinkers, leaders, and creators of the future.
