Friday, June 28, was an unforgettable day for the eighth-grade students of classes VIII-1 and VIII-2 at Savremena Elementary School. In a beautiful and festive atmosphere, starting at 5 PM, a certificate award ceremony was held, which will forever remain in the hearts of all present as a special and emotional event.

The ceremony began with a heartfelt welcome from the school principal, who proudly invited the graduates, already dressed in gowns and caps, to enter the annex. Homeroom teachers, Marina Gava and Perić, delivered a touching speech that moved everyone present before commencing the certificate awards.

Each student was called individually and received their certificate along with a few warm words about their personal and academic achievements. Special book prizes were awarded to students with a perfect GPA of 5.00 and exemplary behavior, as well as to recipients of the Dositej Diploma. The highest honor, the Vuk Diploma, was awarded to students who excelled with outstanding results. The top three students were honored as the pride of the generation and student of the generation, with Sofia Damjanov and Aleksa Ivković named as the pride of the generation, and Natalija Valjarević as the student of the generation.

The ceremony was accompanied by a beautiful presentation of student photos, which added to the emotional atmosphere. After the awards, everyone gathered in the school yard for a group photo. The moment when the students tossed their caps into the air marked the end of their elementary school journey and the beginning of a new chapter.

The informal part of the event was highlighted by a cocktail party, where parents, students, and teachers mingled, hugged, and took photos. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, joy, and positive energy, making the day special for everyone present. This moment of togetherness, laughter, and tears of joy brought everyone closer, leaving memories that will last a lifetime.
