Third Place at the Municipal Geography Competition

Among the Best

Students of Savremena Primary School, Lola Čamparević (8/1) and Mateja Jut (7/1), achieved a notable success by winning third place at the municipal geography competition, held on 15 March at “Dragan Lukić” Primary School. Their result is yet another confirmation of the high level of knowledge and the serious approach to learning that we nurture at Savremena.

In a competition of as many as 200 students, Lola and Mateja stood out by placing among the top 20 in their respective grades, making this achievement even more significant. Their results are not only a reflection of their knowledge, but also of their ability to apply what they have learned in demanding and competitive conditions.

Such achievements are a natural outcome of continuous effort, curiosity, and a strong desire to improve, supported by an environment that encourages students to always give their best.

Learning That Builds Understanding of the World

At Savremena Primary School, geography is not just about memorising facts – it is about understanding the world around us. Through modern teaching methods, students develop the ability to connect information, analyse space, and understand global processes.

Lessons are designed to encourage active participation, exploration, and logical thinking. Students do not simply memorise – they learn to understand, to ask questions, and to draw conclusions. This approach enables them to confidently solve even the most demanding tasks, such as those found in competitions.

Through this way of learning, geography becomes a subject that develops a broader perspective of the world, as well as skills that are valuable for further education and everyday life.

Success That Inspires Future Generations

Winning third place at the municipal competition and placing among the best students represents an important step in Lola and Mateja’s educational journey, as well as a strong motivation for their future achievements. Their result clearly shows that hard work, dedication, and effort are always recognised.

Competitions like this provide students with the opportunity to test their knowledge, build confidence, and gain valuable experience that prepares them for future challenges. Through such experiences, students learn how to think strategically, manage their time, and perform at their best.

At Savremena Primary School, we believe that success is never accidental – it is the result of consistent work, teacher support, and an environment that recognises and nurtures each student’s potential. The success of Lola and Mateja once again proves that Savremena is not just a place where knowledge is acquired, but a school that develops confidence, capability, and readiness to go further – towards new achievements and even greater success.
