As part of the “Parents at Work” project, Savremena Primary School had the honor of hosting Vukosava Šćekić-Jelisavac, a lawyer and the parent of one of our students. During this inspiring visit, students had the opportunity to learn more about the legal profession, its challenges, and its significance.

Vukosava explained to the children, in an engaging and age-appropriate way, what it means to be a lawyer, attorney, and judge, highlighting the differences between these professions. Students also learned about the skills and knowledge needed for success in law, as well as the academic path required to become a legal professional.

Through an interactive discussion, the students asked questions and discovered more about the world of law and how legislation impacts daily life. Direct contact with professionals like this offers invaluable insights into different career possibilities and inspires students to think about their futures.
