A Journey Through Time: Schoolchildren from the Past Come to Life in Class III-1
Exploring the Past Through Costumes, Games, and Lessons on Everyday Life of Ancestors
Students of Class III-1 at Savremena Primary School had a unique and creative opportunity to connect with the past. During a lesson dedicated to exploring life and customs from the previous century, the students dressed in period clothing and transformed their classroom into a setting reminiscent of their grandparents’ school days.
History Comes Alive
Through costumes, games, and storytelling, the students stepped back in time to experience what school days were like in the past. For a brief moment, they discovered what it was like to learn without computers and smartboards, sitting at wooden desks and writing with quill pens or chalk on blackboards. This engaging activity sparked their curiosity as they asked questions about teaching methods, school subjects, and the favorite games of children from the last century.
The lesson unfolded in a cheerful atmosphere, with students particularly enjoying exchanging fascinating stories about everyday life in the past. This experience not only deepened their interest in history but also fostered a sense of gratitude for the conveniences of modern education.
Savremena Primary School Takes Pride in Its Students
The creativity and enthusiasm of Class III-1 demonstrated the importance of making learning fun and interactive. Activities like this encourage children to develop their imagination and connect with history in ways that inspire further exploration and learning.
This event is yet another example of how Savremena Primary School embraces an innovative approach to education, turning knowledge into memorable experiences. Bravo to the students of Class III-1 and their teachers!
