She holds a Master’s degree in Serbian Language and Literature and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Serbian Literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. She has been engaged in academic research since her undergraduate studies and has published several papers in the fields of national culture, essay studies, and the history of ideas. At the same time, she is also pursuing undergraduate studies in History at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, thereby expanding her interdisciplinary and multifaceted approach to the study of national culture.
She has been actively involved in teaching Serbian language and literature since completing her undergraduate studies. She has a strong passion for working with young people and for developing teaching approaches that encourage dialogue, critical thinking, and the exchange of values and experiences. In her teaching practice, she seeks to combine the traditional values of education with contemporary methodological models, with the primary goal of fostering students’ active participation in the process of understanding and interpreting literary texts.
She devotes particular attention to direct engagement with literary works, encouraging students to read and interpret them in the full richness that artistic texts offer, thus uniting the educational and formative goals of mother-tongue language and literature teaching. She shapes her teaching in an intermedial way, viewing literature in relation to other arts, disciplines, and social contexts, while respecting the individual needs and potentials of each student.
She sees literature as a living and endless space for understanding oneself and the world, which in teaching opens up the broadest spectrum of possibilities for guiding students’ systems of ideas and values.
